Jonathan Weinand, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist at Great River Mental Health Care Associates, is completing a study on the development of positive individual and community skills in adolescents. Based on theories related to positive psychology, the research is the first in the nation to use a new tool for measuring adolescent values in an experimental treatment study.

His work is a joint effort between Burlington Community High School, which is funding the study, the University of Pennsylvania Clinical Psychology Department and Mississippi State University Department of Psychology.
