June 10th, 2002Great River Medical Center is one of six hospitals to receive Press Ganey Associates’ prestigious 2002 Success Story Award. The awards are presented each year to hospitals that have identified the need for improvement in patient satisfaction and have successfully implemented and realized initiatives for change.
Press Ganey Associates is the world’s leading developer of survey tools and methodologies for the health-care industry. Great River Medical Center uses Press Ganey’s survey tools to measure patient/resident satisfaction levels for the following services: Emergency Department, Home Health Care, inpatient services, Klein Center and outpatient services.
Ninety hospitals applied for the 2002 Success Story Awards; 22 hospitals made it to the final selection process. Great River Medical Center and the five other winning hospitals will be recognized next fall at Press Ganey’s National Client Conference in Washington, D.C. Here, the hospitals will present their success stories to the conference attendees.
