March 24th, 2005Beginning Monday, March 28, Internal Medicine, P.C., a physician practice that specializes in all aspects of adult medicine, will become part of Great River Health Systems and be renamed Great River Internal Medicine. A second physician will begin seeing patients at the practice on this same date.
Ft. Madison native John Rashid, M.D., opened Internal Medicine, P.C., in 1999. Dr. Rashid received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed his residency at Highland Hospital at the University of Rochester. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Rashid will be joined by Rommel Adajar, M.D., who most recently worked at the Medical Clinic of Saint Paul in Dodge City, Kan. Dr. Adajar received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines and completed his residency at the State University of New York, Brooklyn. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Great River Internal Medicine will remain located in Suite 304 in the Eastman Plaza, 1223 S. Gear Ave., West Burlington, Iowa (next to Great River Medical Center). The practice’s telephone number is (319) 768-3222. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. New appointments are now being accepted.
