Four communications projects produced by Great River Medical Center’s Public Relations Department have been recognized in the 24th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report. A record number of 4,300 entries were received this year, making the awards the largest health-care advertising competition in the country.

A national panel of judges reviewed all entries for creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Great River Medical Center received two gold and two bronze awards in the 200- to 499-bed hospital group. Only 8 percent of all entries received gold-level recognition, 7.5 percent were awarded silver and 7 percent received bronze awards.
