August 8th, 2008Nephrologist Joseph Morris III, D.O., will begin seeing patients in August at Great River Medicine Specialists, a multispecialty physician practice on Great River Medical Center’s campus. Dr. Morris joins nephrologist John O. Stevens, M.D., in providing care for diseases affecting the kidneys.
Dr. Morris received his medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine, Pikeville, Ky. He then completed an internal medicine residency at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, Ohio, and a fellowship in nephrology at University Hospital-Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, N.Y.
Drs. Morris and Stevens provide care for a comprehensive range of kidney-related conditions and symptoms, including:
• Acute and chronic kidney disease
• Anemia management
• Aqua-phoresis management for heart failure
• High blood pressure
• Kidney stones
