Orthopedic surgeon Christopher Dupuis, M.D., has joined Great River Orthopedic Specialists, and he will begin seeing patients Monday, May 4, at the clinic's offices on Great River Medical Center's campus.
Dr. Dupuis joins orthopedic surgeons Theron Jameson, D.O., and Jerry Jochims, M.D., and physician assistant Paul Hay, P.A.-C., in providing orthopedic care to area residents. Great River Orthopedic Specialists provides a comprehensive range of orthopedic surgical services, including:
- Arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder
- Carpal and cubital tunnel release procedures
- Minimally invasive total joint replacement of the hip and knee
- Sports medicine
- Total joint replacement of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow
- Workers' compensation
Dr. Dupuis received his medical degree from George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the George Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Dupuis is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Before joining Great River Orthopedic Specialists, Dr. Dupuis worked full-time at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. He will continue to see patients in Mount Pleasant through a partnership between Great River Medical Center and Henry County Health Center to provide high-quality specialty care to residents of southeast Iowa.
