Great River High Performance is offering a speed and plyometric camp for area athletes, ages 13 to 18. The camp is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m., Dec. 27 to 29, at Great River Center for Rehab and Clinics, 1401 W. Agency Rd., West Burlington, Iowa.

Camp drills focus on:

  • Agility
  • Dynamic warm-up
  • Jumping
  • Quickness
  • Speed conditioning
  • Sports-specific training

The camp’s staff members include former athletes and highly trained professionals with the experience to help athletes improve on the field and court. The camp is for all sports, including volleyball, basketball, track and field, and cross country.

Great River Medical Center’s High Performance Program works to set the standard for improving athletic performance in the region. The program helps athletes improve by using sound scientific principles, sophisticated equipment and proven training techniques.
