People who have been affected by the recent Mississippi River tragedy in Burlington are invited to grief-support programs Thursday, May 31. Sessions led by Great River Mental Health professionals are scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, in the Bulldog Room, lower level, Mercy Plaza, 1225 S. Gear Ave., West Burlington.

The presentations will include information about traumatic events, grief and depression, and healthy ways to cope. There also will be time for participants to ask questions, share feelings and emotions, and provide support to each other.
